Join us to celebrate the Tour of Britain

The Tour of Britain is due to race through Kirkby Stephen on Tuesday, and to celebrate we will be hosting a special open day.
Stage 4 of the race from Gateshead to Kendal is due to pass the end of our road between1:30pm to 2:00pm so why not join us to watch the action then come back to see the great e-bikes we have in store and have a catch-up.
You might not be able to keep up with the professionals on the tour, however, you can get a bike that lets you go further.
Cyclists are realising the benefits of e-bikes - for health, financial and environmental reasons. And the most important thing for riders is its great fun to ride an e-bike. 
Kirkby Stephen knows how to celebrate - and there are THREE DAYS of FREE arts and entertainment events going on to mark the Tour of Britain visit - you can read more about this here.

Best Electric Bike Retailers in Cumbria - and that's official!

We are really chuffed to be awarded the Best Electric Bike Retailer in Cumbria title in the Northern Enterprise Awards ceremony in September.
 
This is the second award this year we have received, having gained the Female Friendly Bike Shop accreditation by the Association of Cycle Traders earlier this year.
 
Now the Best Electric Bike Retailer - Cumbria award in the Northern Enterprise Awards which celebrate the industriousness and the dedication of small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and businesses hailing from the North. 
 
We are absolutely thrilled to have been told we have won the new award and would like to thank whichever customer it was who nominated us.
 
We believe our location in the Eden Valley has given us an advantage in winning this award. We’re located within a good transport network –   only a 15-minute drive from A66, M6 & 10 minutes cycle ride from Leeds-Carlisle’s Kirkby Stephen railway station and less than 10-minute walk from Kirkby Stephen town centre. 
 
Our approach has also ways been to offer the best service to our customers: before, during and especially after they have purchased from us. Being awarded Best Electric Bike Retailer in Cumbria is a great achievement and we continue developing our service for our customers.”

Have a coffee on us

We have teamed up with Steve and Gill at the brilliant Church Gallery in Kirkby Stephen to provide a unique test ride experience - and highlight the town as a cycling destination.
 
When we have answered all of our customer’s questions about electric bikes, tried a few outside the showroom, those who are serious about buying an e-bike can borrow our bikes and have a short ride on quiet roads to Kirkby Stephen to enjoy a coffee (on us) at our favourite cafe and gift shop the Church Gallery. 
 
This is what e-biking is about. You can park and lock the bikes to the rear of the Gallery, have a coffee and a browse, even take some time to stroll around the town.

As we say, "We're electric bikes specialists, not baristas, but you can have a coffee on us at a place that does specialise in good coffee! We leave the coffee to The Gallery experts.”

Join us at Rheged for the Over 50's Lifestyle Show 

We are delighted to be the e-bike specialists at the Cumberland & Westmorland's Over 50's Lifestyle Show at Rheged on Saturday 21 September - 10am-4pm.

As well as our stand with the best of our 2019 e-bike models, we'll have the first of our new 2020 stock on display - and we will be giving a talk on all aspects of e-bikes
and e-biking.

We are so excited about the new stock coming in for 2020 and we have to make space for the new e-bikes - so following the show, we will be having a post-show clearance of remaining 2019 models and demo-bikes giving massive savings on e-bikes of all types and for all budgets.
