SEPTEMBER 2019
Jessica Hancock's show, Precisely Abstract opens on Friday, September 27, 2019! Join us for the opening reception from 5-8 pm (or as long as the doors are open!) Jessica will show larger scale pen and ink and paper cut pieces. Her work is completely done by hand and truly amazing, so be sure to stop by, meet her and view her work.

The last Friday Art Walk of the season is taking place on September 27, too. This will be the final opportunity to take in all the neighborhood happenings and enjoy more art, entertainment and great food throughout the immediate area! The Friday Art Walks are sponsored by the Cedar City Arts Council. Stop by their table during the Art Walk and learn about all they do and find out how to be involved!

Red Acre Farm is popping up during the Art Walks, so be sure to check out the many delectable offerings straight from the field and farm kitchen. Also, look for them  every Thursday from 11-1:30 in 18N for the Pop-up Cafe. You'll find more of everything that makes this local farm special! Follow their Instagram for additional information and updates

StateraArts has opened up their office in our adjacent space--18N! Co-founded by Melinda Pfundstein several years ago, pay attention to what her organization is doing to support women in the arts all over the country! "UPLIFT. AMPLIFY. ADVANCE. Statera takes positive action to bring women into full and equal participation in the arts."

In the coming months, we are looking forward to exhibits by the following regional artists. Andrew Kent-Marvick, and Rae Lewis with Steve Thomsen. A great variety of mediums by these distinctive artists!

CALL TO ARTISTS
We are proud and excited to be curating the art exhibit in conjunction with Read Acre Center's annual Utah Farm and Food Conference taking place on February 6-8, 2020. As part of the Conference, a screening of The Real Dirt on Farmer John will be shown. It is with the inspiration of Red Acre Center's mission and Farmer John Peterson's contribution to CSA farming, that we are seeking art for this exhibit. Art in a wide range of genres will be considered. Please visit Red Acre Center, Red Acre Farm CSA, Angelic Organics, and view The Real Dirt on Farmer John for inspiration. Visit our website for more particulars.

It's been a great summer and we look forward to all that fall has in store!

Our mission is to facilitate a culture that validates artists at all professional levels, and cultivates the idea that “good” art is defined not only by formula, but by the viewer’s emotional response.
