Saving Gracefully
Hello, friends! We continue to keep our organization moving forward in the absence of our beloved Jan Miller. It's because of your support, volunteerism, and financial donations that we continue to thrive. God bless you! We're truly blessed to have our ladies of Grace share their real stories of relapse, recovery, and redemption.

"None of the great things going on in my life would be possible without Grace Ministry. My childhood was not bad and I grew up not hurt for anything. That is until my mom left my dad, and it tore me up inside. My dad was an alcoholic and a drug addict. He passed away about thirteen years ago in active addicition. I loved him just the way he was and it killed me that he died alone. My mom really did her best to raise us right, and I am the only one who turned out like my dad. I got in lots of trouble from arson at age 14, always running away from home, drinking at age 11, to drug use by age 13.

These were good times until they weren't anymore. I've had two DUI's and a few arrests. The last time I was arrested, I ended up doing four months. It was for violation of probation, paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license. I had gotten so bad, I basically put myself on the streets, prostitution, and doing things I never thought I would do. I thanked my judge the other day for putting me in jail. It was a blessing in disguise and saved my life. Grace Ministry and their amazing group of ladies who volunteered to help me through my time in jail, and when I was released they helped me by immediately placing me in a sober living facility. They gave me the chance to get a strong program of recovery along with having a great mentor to help me. I love talking with everyone in Grace Ministry. You can tell how much they care and want to help us ladies.

I really want to thank the ladies and Grace Ministry for saving my life and being of service to me and all the women you help. YOU ARE AMAZING!" - Alicia, Sobriety date - 1/30/19
