A message from your PTSA president
Welcome to all the new and returning Evergreen families!
My name is Binny Marwaha and I am a proud eagle parent, just like you. I am honored to have this opportunity to serve as your PTSA president. I hope everyone’s school year is off to a great start. It is the year of change, with many staff members and families moved to Timberline School.
Every change brings its opportunities and challenges. We, at PTSA, are excited to embrace this change and grow with it. We always seek opportunities to serve our community better. Your support, feedback, and suggestions are very critical as we evolve and expand.
Together let’s make a difference! Your support is crucial to allow us to offer diverse learning experiences for our children. Here is how you can help your PTSA:
Volunteer where you can!
We are all parent volunteers working together to help our children realize their potential AND we are friendly. You can email Yinan Ding with inquiries.
Become a member of the PTSA!
Add your voice to tens of thousands across Washington and millions across the United States as advocates for all children. If you haven’t joined already, then please consider doing so. It is an annual membership. It is $17 per member and $28 per family, and there are no strings attached. We are aiming for 100% participation of our parents. Ask Tonya Lyle-Glaister all about membership.
Give as much and whenever you feel like!
We have a year-long “Pass the Hat” fundraiser to accept your heartfelt donations. We will have two or three fun-filled fundraisers during the year. All your donation money goes back to school. Want to make a special donation? Please reach out to Molly Hepkin.
Last but not least- thank you for helping your PTSA to build a wonderful community for our children. I’m looking forward to meeting many of you and partnering with our school to the best of my abilities. Please feel free to share your suggestions/feedback to help your PTSA improve and keep in touch.
Respectfully,
Binny Marwaha
