Rajasthan -
Delhi temperatures were so hot and humid Dr. Lianzaw could not recover from his flight. The weather conditions caused him extreme exhaustion and breathing difficulties. Since he couldn’t drive, his wife, Moi, drove him to Rajasthan for a meeting with all church planters and their families in that state. They all came to Loma’s house in Jhunjhunnu Rajasthan on September 14, 2019, for a time of training & planning. Mahender & Talwinder’s families couldn’t come due health issues; but all other families came for cameraderie.
Dr. Lianzaw regularly provides seminars to encourage and teach the NBGMI Team members. This time of renewal training was in basic Biblical truths, Christian endurance, and mission history. Afterwards everyone shared reports from each mission field as suggestions of how we would carry on in our mission endeavoring. It was such was a blessed time for everyone.
See photos below.
Please Pray for God’s hands upon us as we continue in the face of opposition to the Gospel message.

This 80 years old woman was the only believer in her family. We baptized her in the river on a cold winter morning. Her grandkids told her not to take baptism in this ice cold water and said, “Grandma, you will not survive into this cold water with severe asthma." But she answered, "If I die I will be sooner with my Lord today. Don’t Worry!!”

LIFE IN INDIA
A Series of Editorial Essays by Anita Barngrover
Part 1
Imagine, if you can, a world with hundreds, even thousands of gods. These gods do not love you. These gods are threatening and vindictive. These gods will do nothing for you – unless you pay the
so-called priests. From an early age, you are taught the world is full of evil spirits ready to pounce on you and harm you at any time. The only way to be safe is to pay the “priests” and beg them to pray to a god, or gods, who can keep away the evil spirits.
You are taught form an early age to fear these gods and to beg and pay for their protection. You live in constant fear of being attacked by an evil spirit. You cannot depend on a god to protect you and your family. The gods do not care about you. You depend on a priest to pray enough for your protection from harm – if you have enough worldly possessions to pay for those prayers of protection.
Can you imagine???
Then one day some kind men and women come to your village to live. They tell you about a God who loves you and died for you in order to save you. These people tell you this God is different. They say, “This is the one true God.” To follow Him costs no money or worldly possessions. Could this be true?!? You want to believe the news about this God. But this is so different than everything you know about your world. And now these people tell you, this one true God is a jealous God. To follow Him, you will have to denounce all of the gods you have paid to keep you safe during your whole life.
You want to follow the one true God they speak of; but you cannot abandon all the other gods who have protected you from the evil spirits.
These are the conditions the NBGMI church planters have in the mission fields where they are placed. Do you understand why it is important for the church planters and their families to live within the village and serve the villagers? They continually speak the truth of the Gospel message as they visit with the villagers. They teach basic education to the village children. They find opportunities every day to love each of the village members with the love of Christ. The concept of one true God takes time for the villagers to grasp.
NBGMI church planters serve and the Holy Spirit changes the hearts of those who hear the Gospel message and see the love of Jesus displayed in the lives of the church planters and their families. PRAISE GOD!
