Dear Parents and Students,
Assalamo Alaikum!
As the calendar year ends, we hope all of you are enjoying school and looking forward to the much-earned winter break!
We have some important announcements for you in this newsletter, including winners of our 2019 K-8 Math Challenge.
But first a couple of reminders from our beloved Huzoor (may Allah strengthen his hand) regarding girls education, and achieving excellence in research and science. As always, please pay special attention to Huzoor's messages as they give us the inspiration for how to succeed in life.

In the below clip, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (atba) explains how important it is for girls to get a good education.
"Your mission is to pursue excellence. You must follow the footsteps of people like Dr Abdus Salam."
Huzoor's (atba) gave an address to Ahmadiyya Muslim Research Association (AMRA), in which he stressed that Ahmadi Muslims should achieve the highest echelon in the fields of research and science.
We are pleased to announce the winners of our 2019 K-8 Math Challenge Program! Alhamdolillah, the Math challenge program continues to move from strength to strength. This year (our fourth overall) we had the highest number of students participating (547) and the highest number of winners (166) of the math challenge.
The final list of 2019 K-8 Math Challenge winners is here. If you believe you or your child's name is missing, please send an email to k8math@ahmadiyya.us with the student's full name, Khan Academy user name and percentage of math mission completed according to your records.
Prizes for all winners with a "C" under Ship will be mailed to their local education secretaries. Prizes for all winners with an "I" will be mailed out to the mailing address submitted during registration. If your mailing address has changed since registration, please let us know at k8math@ahmadiyya.us as soon as possible.
