We have flats of bedding flowers! Pansies, violas, dianthus, and snapdragons for your garden. Come get succulents, ornamental peppers, ajuga and window boxes too.

Eco Farm will be at market with okra, potatoes, radishes, collards, mushrooms, arugula, turnips, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, Long Island cheese squash, hubbard squash, sweet peppers, and maybe figs.

Four Oaks Farm will have cut flowers, eggs, and winter squash! See y'all Tuesday!

Perry-winkle Farm won't be at market this week.  We are heading south, making our way back to the farm, but we won't be home in time for market this week.  It has been a great vacation, lots of "doing nothing."  The crew has been busy covering for us in our absence so we are trying to make it easier for them by limiting the number of markets they attend.

We will look forward to seeing everyone the following week!

Red Roots Farm will be at market this week with okra, Shishito frying peppers, assorted hot peppers, butternut squash, cushaw squash, and pie pumpkins.

Sour Bakery will be there with our usual assortment of sourdough breads and baked goods!

Sweet Flowers and Fruits will be at market this week with traditional and fairy tale eggplant, Giant Marconi Italian peppers--great for cooking, sweet peppers in a variety of colors, jalapeños, red onions, garlic, elephant garlic, and okra.  There will be mixed bouquets for you to choose from and the second planting of tuberoses is starting to come in, so we'll have some of those for you too.  See you Tuesday!

Sweet Little Something

Hello friends,

This week at market I'm planning on bringing you some savory eggplant and mozzarella puff pastry, apple turnovers, pear almond tarts and fresh aprium tarts with pastry cream, clafoutis, chocolate flan, bagged thumbprint cookies and new almond cherry cookies, as well as some Britanny salted butter shortbreads and a brown sugar crust bar with raspberry jam and chewy coconut meringue.

It is still too hot to bring chocolate cakes, but I did take some to the Carrboro market this past Saturday . They sold early, before it got hot and I can't wait to be able to bring some to you as well. I've gotten good feedback on those.

In the meantime, I might make a peach and blueberry cobbler.

See you all Tuesday!

The following vendors also plan to be at market this week:

The Barking Bedlie
Good Rhythm Farm
Gramma D
Grand Hope Farm
Honey Bee Hills Farm
