Irish Sailing is currently developing our next strategic plan for 2020 – 2025. In order for us to complete this very important piece of work, we are reaching out to a broad and diverse group to attain your views on how Irish Sailing can best support the development and growth of our sport over the next five years.
We are holding a number of focus group meetings during September and October. With this in mind we would like to invite you to take part in one of our focus group meetings which are scheduled for 1900hrs-2100hrs on the following dates:
- Mon 30th Sept, Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork
- Tue 1st Oct, Cullaun Sailing Club, Limerick
- Wed 2nd Oct, Mayo Education Centre, Castlebar
- Thu 3rd Oct, Greystones SC, Wicklow
- Wed 8th Oct, Howth Yacht Club, N Dublin
We invite all stakeholders to join us - water-based or land-based, racing, cruising, training, coaching, social or managing, youth or retired, sailing, windsurfing and powerboating, coastal or inland, offshore competition or fair-weather fun - we want to hear from you all.
The Irish Sailing Board have appointed a steering group to manage the process and engaged the services of strategic advisers Lisa Clancy of Clansult Ltd and Sarah O’Shea of Sports Consult who will facilitate the focus groups, lead the discussion and attain the views and ideas of key stakeholders.
If you are available to attend please let us know by booking on the Eventbrite link by Friday 20th September 2019. Thank you in advance for your help with this important project.
Kind Regards
Harry
