El videoclip oficial de "Que Pena" se rodó en la ciudad de Nueva York por el director Colin Tiley. La producción visual comienza con un toque de sentido del humor, ya que cada artista imita las expresiones en redes sociales del otro. El video es diversión pura, tal cual son los ídolos urbanos que se reúnen para salir, encontrándose con dos chicas que pueden (o no) haber conocido desde antes.
Los ganadores al Latin GRAMMY, Maluma y J Balvin, están en la cima de sus carreras. Medellín vio nacer a estos dos “parceros” que son motivo de orgullo y de sentimiento paisa. Sus nombres recorren los países más lejanos y llegan hasta donde el idioma no tiene barreras y es ahí, donde se sienten que sus carreras son globales. ¡Por eso unir sus talentos los hace aún más poderosos!

After much anticipation, Medellín, Colombia's global superstars, Maluma and J Balvin, have joined forces to release their first original song together, "Que Pena". Produced by Edgar Barrera "Edge", Sky Rompiendo and DeeMad and written by Maluma, J Balvin, Edgar Barrera, Alejandro Ramirez and Wissem Larfaoui, "Que Pena" is an infectious mid-tempo fun and sexy reggaetón track that will soon have everyone singing "Ey Que Pena, tu nombre no, pero tu cara me suena. . .".
The official music video was shot in New York City by director Colin Tiley and kicks off with quite a sense of humor as each artist imitates the way the other expresses himself on social media. The video, which highlights each artist's individual fashion style, is all good fun as the urban music idols get together for a night on the town, hooking up with two girls they may or may not have met before.
The multi-platinum artists, Maluma and J Balvin, are at the top of their phenomenal careers and while media and fans have often portrayed them as competitors, this new single shows they are natural collaborators.
