Updates

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that it will end funding of and requests for mammalian toxicity testing by 2035. We’re happy to be collaborating with forward-thinking scientists at the EPA to advance animal-free testing methods that better protect humans and the environment.

We partnered with Imperial Brands PLC, Altria Client Services, British American Tobacco PLC, and Philip Morris International Inc to donate US$110,000 worth of VITROCELL equipment to IIVS in order to replace the use of animals in assessing the effects of tobacco, nicotine, and aerosols on the human respiratory tract. This equipment is in addition to a US$50,000 device we recently donated to IIVS in order to meet the needs of the personal-care industry. Read more here.
