As I mentioned last time, I've been in love with Mackinac Island since I worked there in college and I love to read traditional cozy mystery along with my usual thrillers. So I decided to write a series of my own in tribute to both. The Park Hotel Mysteries were born!

Mackinac Island is a very special place to me. I've been there dozens of times since I graduated from college. We sometimes call it "maniac island" because it's filled with history and beauty and people who love it -- even though some of those folks are just a little bit crazy. I wanted to capture that and include the quirky behavior that delights mystery readers -- along with a few fictional dead bodies, of course!

I started this project a couple of years ago and now I'm thrilled to be sharing it with you.  I really hope you'll love these books!
