It is so wonderful to be back at our Clyde Hill Elementary Campus. THANK YOU to our school and district staff, the Jubilee Reach volunteers, and everyone who came to help get us moved back into school and ready for day 1! The staff did not have any access to campus untilAugust 27. Then it was all hands on deck to help move furniture, unpack, set up and organize every classroom (and specialist rooms!) for our meet and greet on August 29. It was a Herculean effort to get moved in, yet our school started as scheduled. While the building is new, the major processes remain similar. However, if you have questions or concerns, any parent can reach out to our community, theschool staff and administration, the PTA leadership team, as well as Bellevue School District. We look forward to working with you for a successful and FUN return to home base!
We Need You!
We want to reinvigorate our community supported PTA events, including those that extend the curriculum at our school as well as those that embrace the arts. Our well-loved events that still need a parent volunteer to run them include the School Musical (a rite of passage for our fifth grade students!), Reflections Art Competition, Academic Challenge, Talent Show, and Movie Nights - just to name a few.
Due to our the ongoing work at our school, the PTA is unable to coordinate on-campus After School Activities this year with local vendors. We contacted Northwest Arts Center, and they have offered to rent space to our vendors so that our favorite after school activities have a chance to run this year. Ultimately, it is up to the vendors to decide whether or not they will rent space at the Northwest Arts Center and run their programs there. We hope to have more information from our vendors to the community soon. In the interim, the Northwest Arts Center does offer some After School Activities and child care. Learn about their offerings here:
