NONPROFIT SPOTLIGHT
                Talbot House

For women recovering from alcohol or drug addiction, transitioning back into society requires a great deal of work far beyond a treatment program. Learning to live independently as productive members of the community happens best when the right support system is in place. Fortunately for Northeast Mississippians, there is Talbot House. At Talbot House, residents work toward their common goal of continued sobriety. In a safe, stable, sober environment, the women of Talbot House are empowered through a variety of programs and educational opportunities.

Soon the Talbot House Bakery and Cafe will be open for business. The bakery offers the residents of Talbot House a unique opportunity to develop business skills that they can put to use as they move forward in their journey toward independent sober living. And the lucky folks in the Tupelo area will get to enjoy the delicious treats prepared there. Everybody wins!

If your organization has not yet registered for a booth at the Nonprofit and Volunteer Fair, you have until Thursday, September 12, to do so. It's a FREE event, so don't miss out!
