The seasons are changing, which means we are back in our Resolve sweatshirts and fleeces. It also means we are in training to run 10k for Snowdrop and to create winning bakes for our office Bake Off competition. We're also getting ready to wave goodbye to Exchange Server 2010 and welcome Office 365 ATP. Read on to find out more...
Office 365 ATP video demonstration
You might have heard us shouting about how much we love Office 365 ATP  - that's because it is one of the best spam solutions we've ever seen. If you'd not heard, it utilises the info Microsoft collects through scanning 400 billion emails every month. Using this data, they can identify threats quickly. And, if a sneaky email does get through and a link is clicked, ATP "detonates" it safely before infection spreads. Jude produced a video demo to show how it works.

Does your website have an SSL certificate?
This is a pretty important question because SSL certificates prevent cyber criminals from stealing sensitive data from websites. Plus, Google is a fan of them and will rank websites with SSL certificates higher than ones without. You can tell pretty easily whether you have one or not because most browsers will put the words "Not secure" next to the URL in the search bar. Russell explains how to ensure an SSL certifcate is installed.

Goodbye to Exchange Server 2010 in 2020
Next year, at the grand old age of 10, Microsoft Exchange 2010 reaches the end of its life. In practical terms this means that Microsoft will no longer support it which means your systems will then become vulnerable to malicious outsiders. But, don't worry! There are at least two good options to ensure your systems are tickety-boo going forwards; either Exchange Online or Exchange Server 2013/2016. Jude outlines both of them on the blog.
