In our mini talkshow at World Water Week we spoke with representatives from MH Day partners WSSCC, P&G, IFRC and the World Bank about how they have engaged on MH Day 2019 and helped to create massive collective impact together.
In addition we co-organised the 'MHM: Health and Dignity For All' session, and we will soon share a longer report about it on the MH Day website. In the meantime you can rewatch the opening and closing of the session thanks to the streams from our friends at WSSCC.

New York – 11th September-10th December: The webinar series by Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health will see MHM experts discuss a variety of key emerging issues including updated research from menstrual trials in Kenya, Uganda and The Gambia, ending the tampon tax, mainstreaming female-friendly toilets, and rights, dignity and agency associated with menstrual health.

Nairobi – 12th-14th November: The Nairobi Summit on ICPD25 will breathe new life into the ICPD agenda and sustain and amplify gains made since 1994 across five key themes including universal access to SRHR, ending gender-based violence, upholding the right to sexual and reproductive health care in humanitarian contexts and more. Led by UNFPA and the African Coalition for MHM, a session on MHM is secured. If you will be present and want to engage on MHM, let us know!

- Oregon, USA – 12th September: PERIOD will host the second-annual ‘State of the Period’ and will bring together 400 participants to talk about the progress and future of the Menstrual Movement in the USA.
- Pune, India – 18th-21st November: The Global Sanitation Economy Summit will include a session on the current use cases of product and service innovation around MHM. Learn more here.

ACTIVATE – The Documentary Series
Our partners P&G and Global Citizen have joined forces with National Geographic to create a documentary miniseries that started airing on September 5th. Tackling issues of global poverty, inequality and sustainability around the world, each hour-long weekly episode covers a different topic.
Episode four airs on September 26th and is all about menstruation-related barriers to girls' education. Don’t miss it!

Menstrual Health and Hygiene Within SRHR
Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) are based on the right and the ability of all individuals to make decisions about their own bodies so they can live healthy and productive lives. The period is a key marker of a person’s reproductive health. Here are four recent publications that make the case for this:
