The Practice of the Presence of God
by Brother Lawrence (abridged edition) 

This little book, less than 100 pages, is a collection of Brother Lawrence's spiritual insights into the heart of God. It was written over 300 years ago but is quite relevant for Christ followers today. One of my favorite sentences in the book reads: "Our sanctification does not depend as much on changing our activities as it does on doing them for God rather than for ourselves".
(This book recommended to me by Melanie Holland).
