NEW Big Hat Award Dinner The Top of Utah Military Affairs Executive Committee is proud to announce its selection of Congressman Rob Bishop to receive the prestigious Big Hat Award. First awarded in 1948 to Admiral Chester Nimitz, the Big Hat Award is one of the longest running, and highest, awards presented in the Top of Utah for outstanding service to our community. Rural Economic Development Incentive (REDI) The Rural Economic Development Incentive (REDI) is a unique grant given to businesses located anywhere—whether urban or rural, remote or local—that will hire skilled workers living in rural Utah. The grant gives businesses $4,000 to $6,000 for each new full-time position paying at least 125% of the rural county’s average wage.
