ACPC News – Lay it on the line - It takes all of us

When we launched the Ashland Culture of Peace Commission four years ago on September 21, 2015, I said we will all grow from this journey, that change is a continuous process, and it isn’t easy. Growth and change are necessary to create the Culture of Peace. It is a challenge that requires practice.

When we launched the Ashland Culture of Peace Commission we did so with the understanding that this evolutionary step is a local – global initiative, with a focus on personal and systemic development.

When we launched the Ashland Culture of Peace Commission we laid its foundation with 12 shared values which began with “A World That Works for All”. Please see below.

This all comes together as we lay it on the line in the Ashland Global Peace Conference. The conference is about personal commitment to foster wellbeing for all, leading to systemic change.

Below I share a number of things that show change is in the works. If you could come to the conference and choose not to, I encourage you to join in and give yourself the experience to grow with this rare gathering of global, national, state, city, and community leaders and contribute to this learning environment,

Lay it on the line, it takes all of us.

Cheers,

David
