IS THIS STORM CARRYING A MESSAGE?

As most of us know, the Carolinas has again been in the news for the alleged fall of a Christian leader due to sexual immorality. In fact, the location being in nearly the exact same spot.

I believe we need to be in repentance over this. Whether for the sins, or for the faultfinding and accuser spirit that came forth as a result.

Those of us who went through the PTL scandal experienced the same thing. There was a huge divide in the Body of Christ locally because of it. There were even scenes on television news showing the screaming matches between those involved. In this current case, it’s taking place across social media.

The enemy would love to cause huge division amongst the Body of Christ as we are even facing an election year soon coming up. Let’s not participate in his plot.

May God turn what Satan meant for evil into good. Instead of chasing people from the church, and from the Lord, may it make us all realize our need for God. And may this bring fourth a great harvest of souls.

The approaching hurricane seems to be forecast to track more toward the Carolinas now. Same thing happened after the PTL issue. We got hurricane Hugo, which interchangeably means mind, spirit.

This is Hurricane Dorian, which means gift.

God’s greatest gift is repentance, which involves a change of one’s mind and spirit, through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. We can pray and repent on behalf of this region for a cleansing and deliverance of this repeated curse.

MorningStar is my home church, but I’m not personally involved in this situation. I simply live in this region but travel and minister across the country.

Anyhow, I extend this invitation...let’s each of us in our own way and location who feel so led to do this, approach our Lord regarding this.

There are some helpful verses below.

Blessings,
Joni
