Introducing our very own merchandise, made to commemorate The Docomomo US National Symposium 2019 in Honolulu. We got our creative juices flowing and created some exclusive merchandise up for grabs during the month of Modernism (September). Let's support our local artist and designers!
Rumi Murakami x Docomomo Hawai'i
(Only available exclusively at Fishcake, Kaka'ako)
Introducing an exclusive, one of a kind, ready-to-wear piece designed by Rumi Murakami. Created for those who love modern design, recognize quality workmanship and appreciate small-batch availability. Influenced deeply by her Japanese heritage and a childhood immersed in the creative counter-culture of Northern California’s Bay Area in the late 1970’s, Rumi’s design philosophy follows a tradition of handcrafting as opposed to high volume production. All patterns and samples are made by Rumi in her Kaka`ako studio. This inspired design exudes modern minimalism in your daily life. Available in black or white.
