Welcome Back - Fall 2019 Newsletter

In loving memory of Brian Gialketsis <3

SERC Community Message:

Welcome back to a brand new semester at UC Berkeley! We hope your summers were fun, restful, relaxing, and full of love.

It is with heavy heart and sadness to share that we loss one of our SERC family members, Brian Gialketsis this summer. Brian was a wonderful, bright, passionate, and intelligent member of our environmental community and SERC family, always serving as a strong advocate  for the environment, and environmental and social justice.

We are hosting a memorial in the Tilden Room, which is on the 5th floor of the MLK, Jr. building in the ASUC Student Union at UC Berkeley for those that wish to join us in celebrating the life of our loving Brian Patrick Gialketsis.

Brian's impact on this earth was profound and immeasurable. He touched so many lives, we'd love for everyone interested in attending to join us.
