Go back to school with a BioInteractive workshop. All of our workshops are free, and breakfast, lunch, and parking are provided. Educators external to Santa Clara County are welcome to register and attend!


Developing Equitable Teaching Strategies that Increase Engagement for All Students.

  • This free workshop is cross-discipline and focuses on honoring Appendix D of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), the requirement of "All Standards for All Students."
  • Participants will learn how to create equitable classrooms through engaging students in group-worthy tasks with the goal of changing classroom status.
  • We will redefine our traditional definition of “smart” and value the wide range of prior knowledge and experience our students bring to class with them every day.
