When I started my business, nobody in my industry knew me, I had no audience or email list, yet I grew my business to full-time income within my first year.
The main outreach method I used was collaborations or JV's (joint ventures).
Over the years, I've taught many people how to find and form these simple collaborations that create mutual benefit and happiness for everyone involved.
This course will offer you my best strategies for doing this.
There are 3 types of businesses that can benefit from collaborations:
(1) Those with no audience -- collaborate with one another to clarify your marketing message and offers. You might also collaborate "up" with the next type of business:
(2) Those with a small audience -- collaborate with one another to grow your audience.
(3) Those with a big audience -- you already know the value of collaborations and can always do more to grow sales.
In this course, students of all levels will have the instruction, opportunity, and practice to create collaborations with other compatible businesses -- and thus expand their own business more quickly.
Questions we'll be discussing in the course include:
- What is the minimum you need to get started? (Hint: you probably have it already!)
- How can you find authentic collaborators who are aligned with you in values?
- Many people don't enjoy "networking" -- is there an alternative? (Hint: netcaring!)
- What message can you send to potential collaborators? (I'll offer you 3 templates.)
- What are the simplest ways to collaborate? (We'll practice in the course!)
- How to think about profit-sharing? (Keeping it simple and sustainable.)
- How to promote the collaboration authentically?
I'll answer your questions related to collaboration and JV's.
You'll get the practice of actually forming simple collaborations right in the course!
You will be able to access a student directory, so that even if you cannot attend the live workshops, you will still be able to use the exercise to form collaborations.
