❤️ Bringing The Red Room To San Jose
The functional fitness gym deemed the “the best workout in the world” is coming to San Jose! That’s right — Barry’s Bootcamp is opening its latest Bay Area location sometime in September at Santana Row. Keep an eye on their Instagram for details on the official ribbon cutting date. We’ll see you in the red room!

🥑 Guac Out!
The second annual Avocado Con is hitting SF this weekend, and we couldn’t be more ready. Head to the SoMa StrEat Food Park on Saturday or Sunday to indulge in everything from guac burgers and rolled avocado ice cream to avocado toast (of course) and more. There will also be a live DJ to keep the good vibes going and an all you can drink craft beer bar to wash it all down. If that doesn’t sound like the perfect weekend event, we don’t know what does.

🙌 Plant-Based Grocery Go-To
A meatless market has arrived in Outer Sunset. Introducing VegeFarm, a Taiwanese plant-based grocery store stocking frozen vegan and vegetarian versions of comfort food items like chicken nuggets, BBQ pork, and hot dogs. They already have a location in San Jose, but you can now stop by their new spot on 2024 Irving Street anytime you’re in the mood for a quick (and delicious) plant-filled meal.

🎧 Mindful Movement
MindTravel, a passion project of composer and musician Murray Hidary, is coming to San Francisco this Tuesday to host a truly magical experience. They’ll be leading a SilentHike along the Lands End Trail. This is not your average trek, though — think silent disco meets immersive meditation all while you take in the spectacular coastal views. Just reserve your spot, don your headphones (provided), and prepare for an epic evening.

🌱 Going Green
The people that brought us Super Duper Burgers are closing their Belgian-inspired concept Belga in Cow Hollow and, in its place, launching a new, plant-based restaurant they’re calling Wildseed. Specific menu items have yet to be revealed, but you won’t have to wait long to check ’em out, because they’re planning to open this month. In addition to tasty eats, you can also expect a full selection of organic, vegan wines, and creative cocktails. Keep an eye on their social media for updates — happy hour is about to get a whole lot better.

😢 One Less Poke Place
After two and a half years in business, we’re sad to say Our Poke Place has closed the doors to its Mission District eatery. We’ll certainly miss their fresh fish, quality toppings, and customizable bowls but we’re sending good vibes their way!
