🙈 Don’t Be Shy
Big news for the Cambridge crowd! An all-day cafe by the name of Shy Bird just opened at the end of August at Broadway and 3rd St., and they come bearing healthy breakfast bites, an espresso bar serving Counter Culture coffee, rotisserie chicken, and more than a few tasty cocktails. Fitt Tip: The Honey-Nut Tartine on the breakfast menu; you need it.

💫 STACKED Sunday
Rarely do we miss a chance to shout out a new studio, but somehow FIT Ritual opened their doors in Beverly at the end of July right under our noses. Their 45-minute, strength-building classes are mega-popular, and they’re getting quite involved with the community. For instance, how does a class followed by an acai bowl and private shopping at lululemon sound? Head to lululemon in Lynnfield to try out the FIT Ritual STACKED class, refuel with SoBol Beverly, and cool down with some retail therapy.

Who’s hungry? Because there are some Boston-proud food businesses gathering at Van Ness in Fenway next Thursday, September 12. The outdoor event will see some of our favorite restaurants—like by CHLOE., honeygrow, Caffè Nero, and [FōMū]—dishing out samples of their signatures, plus live music, celebrity chef demos, art, and drinks! If you love caffeine, surely you already know about Gracenote Coffee. The cozy, modern espresso bar is well-known for their strong nitro cold brew and delicate cashew milk latte, but have you ever been to one of their public cuppings? That’s where you get to try their ENTIRE coffee catalog in a very buzzy atmosphere. The next one is Tuesday, September 10 — buckle up, Beantown.

🥪 In Other News
Tomorrow marks the first day of a three-day Boston pop-up where New York-based Katz’s Delicatessen is offering their famous pastrami sandwich locally through Uber Eats. They’ll also be serving up a home pastrami kit with the purchase of “The Fancy” at South End’s Mike & Patty’s, all for $21. Katz’s is considered an American-Jewish staple and Boston is part of a nationwide tour that spans across a total of four cities. Don’t miss your chance to try tender roast beef and all the other sweet and salty flavors they’re offering as part of this limited-time appearance in Massachusetts.
