Farewell Rebecca

It's with sadness we farewell one of our valued Regional Youth Enablers, Rebecca Wilcox. She has worked so hard behind the scenes to support the incredible leaders supporting youth ministry in Wellington and Wairarapa. Some of the things she has also done is taken on challenging roles like creating our Health and Safety policy for Easter Camp, written up all those duty lists at camp, pulled together our very special prayer station evenings, plus she's created us a website for Easter Camp! How will we do without her! She also has been a key voice to our wrestlings with how to create discipleship and missional communities in our parishes. These are only a tiny handful of the things she has touched while being with us but gives you a picture of how clever she is, working on such a broad range of challenges. We will miss her but are excited to support her leaving as she looks further into the ministry God is calling her too. Catch up with her if you'd like to know more.

Video based Safety WOF Training
We are delighted to announce that the online, videobased version of the PCANZ Safety Warrant of Fitness is ready for your church to use. The training is divided into three sessions, which we
suggest are run over three evenings, but could be done over one day:
1.Ethical Practices
2. Health and Safety
3. Recognising and Responding to Child Abuse
For each session, there is a video, facilitators guide and a participant’s workbook. The training works like an alpha course; participants watch a video, pausing it periodically for group discussions or a group exercise.
