Special Conclave Information Edition
September 5, 2019

After nearly a year of planning, Section W-1S is excited to meet you at Camp Meriwether tomorrow. Here is all the important information that you need as you make your final preparations to set sail for the cape and for your arrival at camp.

Tips for Check-In

This year, the check-in process at conclave has been streamlined to get you the information that you need to know ans spend as little time waiting in line as possible. Here are some tips to help make your check-in a very speedy process.

Payment Before Your Arrive
The registration system will accept your payment up until you arrive at camp. You can go back into your registration account at https://registration.oa-bsa.org/. Click on Section W-1S Conclave under "My Events" and you will see where you can make a payment for your conclave registration.

Required BSA Medical Form Part A&B
All participants, guests, and staff of conclave are required to bring a BSA medical form. For the fastest check-in experience, all medical forms should be completely filled out (Part A & B) and the driver of your vehicle should have them all when you arrive. Please don't have them stuffed away in the bottom of your pack.
The BSA Medical Form can be found HERE

Follow the Signs
Follow the signs to Conclave check-in after you are on the Camp Meriwether Road. Do not follow the sign tot he Camp Parking lot. You will be greeted at the camp meadow. Please do not get out of your vehicle. When told to do so, proceed up the hill to Discovery Lodge where you will be checked in to conclave.

Checking In
When you check-in, you will trade your BSA medical form for your registration packet. We want to check in all occupants of your vehicle at the same time.

Drivers That are Staying
Drivers that are staying will be given a parking permit for your vehicle and an unloading zone assignment along the camp service road. There is limited parking along the service road, so you will have 15 minutes to unload and move your car to the camp parking lot.

Drivers That are Leaving after Dropping off Arrowmen
Please take your scouts to their assigned unloading area. Follow the signs to the camp parking lot and continue back on the camp entrance road which leads back to the main highway.

Campsite Assignments

Campsites have been assigned based on registration counts. Camp is going to be full but there is room for all those attending. Please pack a tent in case it is needed to comply with the new Youth Protection Guidelines of the BSA.

Members with mobility issues or that use a CPAP will be assigned to staff cabins on an individual basis.
The list of training classes offered at this year's conclave can be found by clicking the below button. You will also receive all training information when you arrive at camp.

NOTE: All training classes with extra fees will need to be paid directly to the instructor. Cash and check only.
