Look at this beautiful box made by one of my very talented students, Millie Carter! Millie has been having classes with me and I helped her to realise this project as a present for her daughter, also called Sarah. It's full of symbolism representing events that have happened to them, flowers from the garden, samples of embroidery from Millie's own fair hand and even a lock of the dogs fur! The box was beautifully made by Peter Hill, to fit Millie's embroideries exactly. What a beautiful heirloom to have, well done Millie!
