2019 MadTown Yarn Shop Hop
The third annual MadTown Yarn Shop Hop is fast approaching! Explore your area yarn shops, mills, and fiber farms throughout the weekend of October 18th-20th 2019. Pick up an official stamp card at any of the participating shops to track which ones you’ve visited, then drop it off at the last place you stop to be entered into a prize drawing!
Because we know not everyone can get to all of the participating locations, we’ve created a four tiered system that awards prizes to those who visit 5-7 shops, 8-10 shops, 11-12 shops, and the grand prize, for visiting all 13 shops! Extra door prizes, sales, classes, and events will vary from store to store. Please check the other participating shops' websites for special events going on throughout the weekend.
KnitCircus will be open until 8:00 pm on Friday, October 18th so you’ll have plenty of time to kick off your shop hop weekend! We'll also be hosting hand-made creations from Pointelle Design throughout the day of Friday. So, come knit with us, stock up on exclusive hand-dyed yarn, and snack on some light refreshments. On Saturday October 19th from 10:00-5:00 we’ll have a pop-up shop at KnitCircus with the unique hand-stamped creations from Chickadiddy, a locally based, woman-owned business. KnitCircus will have two handpainting yarn classes going on in the dye studio at 10-12:30 or 2-5:30. You'll come away with two skeins of yarn that you hand-dyed yourself! Please sign-up on our website ahead of time. We’ll also be hosting some amazing yarns from Yarn Café Creations and Honey Girl Farms throughout the weekend
Exclusive Shop Hop logo swag will also be available at various shop locations! At KnitCircus can pre-order and reserve pins, project bags, and KnitCircus's exclusive hand-dyed shop hop colorway until October 1st. If you wish to pick up your items in-store leave a note in your order, or have us ship it after the shop hop. More ShopHop swag will be available in person at KnitCircus and other shops the weekend of the shop hop!
