Dear AACA Community,
The school is humming along! Lunch, recess, specials, and afterschool care are in full swing. There is an energetic rhythm during the school day that you can feel at the onset of the first school bell. This year is destined to be the best school year yet.
Sunday, September 8th we celebrate Fr. Bauer’s official installation as pastor of St. Alphonsus Parish at the 5:00PM Mass. The ceremony will be beautiful. Please plan on attending the Mass, followed by a reception, with the entire family.
Next week, Back To School Night is scheduled for Thursday, September 12th starting at 6:00PM in Festival Hall. It is a very important event for parents. I look forward to seeing you and welcoming you back to school!
Our school year is dedicated to St. Gabriel The Archangel. St. Gabriel, help us communicate your love for God to each other!
Blessings,
Dr. Badynee, Ed.D.

Angst: Documentary Screening new!
Angst is a documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and a special interview with Michael Phelps. The film is reflecting on what we see. Anxiety is the precursor to so many mental health challenges. By opening a dialogue and normalizing (not trivializing) anxiety we can help each other and ourselves. After viewing the film, an interactive panel discussion will take place. Join us for this event on 9/25 at 6:30pm in the Athenaeum. It's open to all, but most effective for ages 10 and up. Admission is free but you must reserve a ticket by going to www.athenaeumtheatre.com or in person at the box office.
