Meadville Fine Arts will have a photo booth in our shop, and will be encouraging visitors to pose as mannequins featuring their fabulous clothing for the evening. It should prove to be a lot of fun. Stop in and join us!
On Exhibit Through September, "A Collection of Moments" by Jan Lutz
We are honored to feature select works by Jan Lutz, resident artist and owner of Kelly Run Gallery in Cambridge Springs, PA. Jan is a prolific painter in both oil and watercolors. Her work has won numerous top awards and is in many private and public collections.
This exhibit, "A Collection of Moments", consists of eighteen pieces, and is a sampler of different themes she has explored throughout northwest Pennsylvania. She describes her work as "painterly realism", and considers color, composition and technique the most important aspects of her work. Her work will be on exhibit at MFA through the end of September.
Miscellaneous Pottery & Stoneware
We have a new collection of pottery and stoneware that we picked up over 50 pieces in our travels down south this last month. They are mostly all hand made with the artist’s initials, mark or signature on the bottom. We have cups, bowls, baking dishes, vases,plates and odds and ends. Here is a photo of just a few.
