Justin speaks to hockey leaders around the province about player development and how Hockey Alberta's new Intro to Hockey program benefits young players. He's here to speak and answer your questions about small-area development and why Hockey Alberta has mandated this new model across the province.

JOE QUINN - Founder & President, Power Edge Pro
Hockey News recently named Joe as one of the top 100 people of power and influence in hockey. He's trained Connor McDavid since he was 10 years-old, and counts Taylor Hall, John Tavares, Matt Duchene & Jack Hughes among the many top level athletes he trains. Joe will speak on the benefits of what he calls reactive countering training, and how these skills are essential to playing today’s game.

FRAN GOW – Coach Mentor, Hockey Alberta - VP Hockey Operations, AJHL – Head Coach, SPKAC MAAA Kings
Recently hired as the head coach for our Midget AAA program in Sherwood Park, Fran is widely noted as one of the top coaches in the province. Most notably, Fran is one of only three coaches in AJHL history to coach 1,000 regular season games. He achieved this great feat while coaching the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, Grande Prairie Storm, and Drayton Valley Thunder. Fran won an RBC Cup with Fort McMurray in 2000. Fran will be speaking on what it takes to make the jump to community stream to elite level hockey.
