The WorkAbility Queensland team is forging on!

We are working with the Queensland Government on the next phase of the
NDIS Training and Skills Support Strategy and in exciting news we delivered the first forums in Townsville and Mackay for the NDIS Workforce Research as part of our research partnership with Jobs Queensland and CQUniversity. Early findings from the research reveal significant jobs growth and opportunities for regional workforce development.

NDIS employers, employees and sole providers came together in Mackay and Townsville in August to provide valuable feedback on the research findings from the NDIS Workforce Research Project.

NDIS Training and Skills Support Strategy
Research Reports

The NDIS Training and Skills Support Strategy (NTSSS) (the Strategy) has been developed by a consortium of Community Services lead organisations in collaboration with key government agencies.

The aim of the strategy is to provide strategic advice to industry and governments on matters related to the NDIS workforce in Queensland, and specifically regarding skilling priorities, VET investment and improvements in the quality of training delivery to support future NDIS workforce.

Three evaluation reports have been released as part of the Strategy:

  • RTO Quality and Benchmarks Report
  • Training Package Advice Report
  • Technical Advice Report.
