Hello Beloved!
Wow! Summer has virtually come and gone. Where does the time go and so fast? The Autumn Equinox is September 23rd. In my mind it is still summer lol!
It's so important to enjoy every moment innit?!
Speaking of time, 7 years ago this month I moved to California. Yep, I moved to the Bay Area on Beyoncé's birthday September 4th 2012.
I don't even know where to begin, how do I explain how these last 7 years have shaped me?
  
Well, I was in Mendocino for retreat. When I ate lunch on one of the days of the retreat, I had a delightful conversation with one of the other black womxn sitting at the table with me. She is from Chicago and has been living in the Bay Area for 16 years. We were reveling over the beautiful Mendocino Mountains and landscapes and the vibrant energy from the people and activities at the retreat. I told her that California is a blessing in many ways. Farm Fresh local food is available year-round, this is one of the mecca's for LGBTQ+ history and future, there are many outlets for spiritual growth etc. As we ended our convo she says she moved out here for the "Spirituality , Weed, Wine and Womxn!" Ha! I can dig it!!!! I can really relate to that sentiment.
Almost everyone I've met has come here to explore how to live a very intentional and liberatory life.
Weather its to study nature/permaculture, land a lucrative job in tech, find community/romance in the LGBTQ+ community or become adept at yoga, meditation the healing arts. We all know the Bay is not as accessible as it once was but something keeps us here. Reaching, surrendering and allowing Life to be lived within the Divine Flow. I'm eternally grateful for all my experiences here
I've had the pleasure of being born and raised in Washington DC/Maryland, attending undergrad and living in Philadelphia, PA for 10years and now I have been in the Bay Area for close to a decade. My time here in California has helped me evolove mentally and spiritually. I've learned how to embrace resilience during times of FAILURE and UNCERTAINTY. I've cultivated a toolkit of healing and growth and I look forward to evolving and elevating even more. Thank you for all of you who have been part of my journey during the good, bad and the ugly. I appreciate your love, friendship, student-ship , patience , laughter and tears. Cheers to 7 years in the Bay Area and living in the mystery : )

The Sunrise Series :
Start your week off with a small group of dedicated students who are ready to explore a deeper level of Self-Care. I've offered this series quarterly for a year now. There is a curriculum that will help you with practicing yoga and meditation at home as well as learning how to address back health and optimal balance with Chinese Medicince and Ayurveda.
