This Sunday, September 22, is American Business Women’s Day. On this day we commemorate the achievements and accomplishments of the businesswomen across the nation.

We all know and love women who slay it every day in her office, at her place of business, or as CEO of home & family, while juggling a busy family, household, and social life. We LOVE it! But it’s not easy and it rarely awards us time to come up for air. Sunday is a great day to celebrate your favorite boss lady! Take her to brunch, drink a little rose (all day) and show her how impressed you are with her skills, talents, and commitment to all she does.

In addition to celebrating our favorite businesswomen, Sunday is also a great opportunity to talk to our daughters about what it means to be a woman in the workforce and how very far we’ve come, even just in the past 30 years. Women before us have broken countless glass ceilings  and it’s important that we teach our girls to acknowledge and appreciate the opportunities they have.

If you are a woman in business, we hope you’ll spend Sunday knowing you are our hero.

As you probably know by now, I have transitioned from being an entrepreneur to being a dualpreneur. My business partner Meredith Kallaher and I have launched a new company called Meredith & Boo. We will bring online courses to busy private practice doctors who want their marketing managed in-house and don’t want to overspend on outsourced marketing that simply doesn’t work. In our first online course, Instagram Strategy for Busy Doctors, we will teach the doc’s in-house marketing person who to build a step-by-step plan that is designed to grow their practice, but not their credit card bill.
