Focus To Move

Last night, my assistant Daniel and I returned from two amazing and very intense weeks of ministry in Europe.
 

We began in Turkey with a pastors conference. So many incredible men and women passionate to touch their nation with Gods love. 
 

What an honor it was to visit such a beautiful country!

From there we went to Rotterdam in the Netherlands for the second annual “Focus to Move” conference, hosted by “De Rank” (the vine) Rafaël church.

Focus to Move is about preparing the church to go beyond the four walls of the building and into neighborhoods, cities, and the nation!

It's about doing what Jesus did in today’s complex and broken world.

One of my favorite New Testament verses is John 1:14, from the message translation.

“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes...”

I love the concept of Jesus moving into neighborhoods.

The conference was not only spiritually challenging, it was practical.

I can do this.

Notice I didn’t emphasis “we can”. It’s not about another church program. It’s about me as an individual doing my part.
 

Of course we are always better together and can accomplish much more as a team, but too often we wait for a new program or the challenge of a leader to motivate us.

Focus To Move means you and me being focused and ready to make a difference in someone’s life today and Everyday! 

For those of you living in Europe, the next Focus to Move conference will be next year around the first weekend in October.

We’ll keep you posted on the exact dates as soon as we know them!

God has entrusted us with gifts and talents. Don’t take them lightly. Shake off complacency and stir up what God has put in you.

Make the most of today. Don’t let fear of failure or the fear of what people will think hold you back.

Focus and get moving!
