The MIT Muslim Students’ Association(MSA) is a family of students from all across the U.S. and from all around the world. The focus of the student group is to ensure that Muslim students feel supported on campus spiritually, socially, and academically. The MSA hosts Weekly Jumuah(Friday prayer) and CONNECT discussion circles. We also have events almost every week ranging from Game nights to a BBQ on Kresge. The MIT English as a Second Language Program for Service Employees Looking for volunteers to tutor night shift employees one hour/week or to fill in for the regular weekly tutors as needed. No experience is required, just a good command of English and an interest in helping individuals whose first language is not English.
Tutoring takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 - midnight beginning Tues., Sept. 23. The semester runs through the week of Dec. 13.
This is an opportunity to make a real and positive difference.

PLEASURE stands for Peers Leading Education About Sexuality & Speaking Up for Relationship Empowerment. We are a student organization dedicated to combatting sexual violence and promoting healthy relationships at MIT with the support of the office for Violence Prevention and Response (VPR). If any of this sounds interesting to you be sure to apply here by Monday, September 16th to become a peer educator. Interviews will be held the week of the 16th. The next training session will occur October 12th – 15th from 10-6 each day.
