COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Short North Alliance invites the Columbus community to celebrate costumes and creativity at HighBall Halloween on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. For the first time ever, HighBall Halloween will be an indoor and outdoor event, taking place as usual on High Street in the Short North Arts District, as well as inside of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
The 2019 event will maintain its celebration on High Street, including DJ-spun tunes on the HighBall Halloween Second Stage, larger-than-life street performances by the Amazing Giants, karaoke, food and drinks, and more. The HighBall Halloween Main Stage, featuring various musical acts throughout the weekend, as well as the Costume Couture Fashion Show, will shift inside to Hall A of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
HighBall Halloween proudly welcomes back long-standing host, Nina West, the official “Miss Congeniality” from the most recent iteration of the hit TV series RuPaul’s Drag Race. West will host both nights alongside NBC4’s Monica Day and Matt Barnes. For the first time, HighBallers who purchase the Ultimate VIP Experience will get to attend a Meet & Greet with Nina West.
HighBall On The Rocks: Studio 614 - Friday, October 11
Highball on the Rocks is the annual Friday night tribute to fabulous fashion inspired by music icons, eras, and genres. On Friday, local bands Funk Worthy, Parker Louis, and Amber Knicole presents Divas, as well as the best and most unique ABBA experience in the world, ABBARAMA, will all hit the HighBall Halloween Main Stage to deliver the ultimate disco dance party. HighBallers are invited to come dressed as favorite '70s music legends for the HighBall on the Rocks Public Costume Contest.
HighBall High Fashion - Saturday, October 12
Extraordinary style and creativity is the name of the game at HighBall High Fashion on Saturday night. Local bands NACHO Street Band and Mojoflo will kick off the night, followed by a speak performance from the one and only Nina West. Then see models stomp the runway in inspired costume collections as eight individual and teams of designers compete for the top slot and cash prize in a spectacular show unlike any other: the HighBall Halloween Costume Couture Fashion Show. At the end of the night, you too can be a part of the Main Stage spectacle in the HighBall High Fashion Public Costume Contest.
HighBall Halloween White Castle VIP Slider Social
Experience HighBall Halloween up-close and personal. Presented by White Castle, the HighBall Halloween VIP Slider Social features up-close views of the HighBall Halloween Main Stage and runway, unlimited eats provided by White Castle, and private cash bars with a special selection of beverages for VIPs only.
HighBall Halloween Ultimate VIP Experience
Make the most of HighBall Halloween with the Ultimate VIP Experience. Ultimate VIP Admission includes the perks of the White Castle VIP Party plus a Meet & Greet with Nina West, the best Main Stage viewing, and an open bar. Ultimate VIP Admission is limited to 100 people per night.

Proceeds from HighBall Halloween go to support the Short North Alliance (SNA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving both the property owners and business owners of the Short North Arts District. HighBall Halloween helps to underwrite the programs and activities of the Short North Alliance, including clean and safe initiatives, promotions, holiday campaigns, public art installations, and parking management. Additionally, numerous groups receive stipends to further their good works in return for their support of HighBall Halloween.
