Call for Program/Workshop Proposals
The Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA) extends an invitation to all library professionals and vendors to join us in presenting educational and thought-provoking programs and workshops at the 11th National Conference of African American Librarians (NCAAL) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Conference serves as a national meeting for professionals in all areas of the information industry and provides opportunities to discuss varying issues, formulate new visions, celebrate achievements, and share best practices as we address issues relevant to libraries. The National Conference of African American Librarians is known for excellence as the largest conference devoted to African American library professionals. The deadline for submissions is November 7, 2019.
You are invited to submit a proposal for presenting at the conference. When developing proposals select the appropriate track(s) (no more than two) for your proposal(s:
- Sankofa/50th Anniversary
- Innovation, Creativity, and Technology
- Bridge Building, Intersectionality, and Inclusion
- Collections, Programs, and Services
- Advocacy, Outreach, and Collaboration
- Leadership, Management, Development and Organization
