Join Us Next Week for a Project Update at the Portland Utility Board

The Portland Utility Board (PUB) is a community oversight body for the Portland Water Bureau and Bureau of Environmental Services, and City Council management of these public utility bureaus. According to city code, the Board’s purpose is to "advise the City Council, on behalf of and for the benefit of the citizens of Portland, on the financial plans, capital improvements, annual budget development and rate setting for the City’s water, sewer, stormwater, and watershed services."

The PUB will hear an update on the Bull Run Treatment Projects, including estimated costs for the water filtration plant, pipe connections, and improvements to increase resilience of the water supply system at their Board meeting next week:

Date: Tuesday, October 1, 2019
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Location: 1900 Building, 1900 SW Fourth Avenue, Room 2500C, Portland, OR 97201

PUB meetings are open to the public and include a public comment period at each meeting.
