- The borough-owned electric utility provides power to the people – and at competitive prices, reports the Madison Eagle. It’s both a valuable asset and a powerfully good deal for Madison residents.
- Madison has been humming along with sound fiscal management for the last few years, including no municipal tax increase this year. That’s why Mayor Robert Conley, Councilwoman Maureen Byrne and Council candidate Rachel Ehrlich proudly made this winning record a key plank in their platform for election, according to the Madison Eagle.
- Madison launched the first Street Smart campaign in September following two hit-and-run accidents, one of which killed a pedestrian, reported the Madison Eagle. The initial campaign combined educational outreach and high-visibility law enforcement to change behaviors related to pedestrian safety.
