The Irish Open in Waterford is on the 28th & 29th September, as well as a 4-game novice event on the Sunday afternoon for anyone new to the tournament scene. The hotel is booked up now, as is Samuel's Heritage B&B just up the road, but there are lots of other hotels and Airbnb options.

The All-Ireland Scrabble Tournament is in Hotel Curracloe on the 16th & 17th of November, and there will also be a 4-game novice event at this event.

The committee would like to assist new clubs setting up, and obviously boards are an important part of any club. If players have old Scrabble sets that they no longer need, we'd be happy to take them off your hands and put them to good use - just bring them with you to any tournament. Thanks in advance!
