Raleigh's Responsible Dog Ownership Day is Saturday, Sep 28th 2019
Please come help us promote our wonderful breed! For our September Member Meeting, the Central Carolina CKCS Club will be participating in the 17th annual AKC Responsible Dog Ownership (RDO) Day held at the NC State Fairgrounds in the Holshouser Building on Saturday, Sep 28th from 10am to 2pm.
You and your dog are invited to come and enjoy a free day of demonstrations, giveaways, games, Meet the Breeds and more! You can try out a mini agility course at AKC's "My Dog Can DO That!", and achieve the AKC Canine Good Citizen title. Also, this year Trick Dog Novice testing will be offered and folks with CGCs on their dogs are encouraged to sign up.
We will participate in the Meet the Breeds event and we need your help and your dog's help to make this happen! Please come and help us encourage people to get to know this breed and to understand their needs as an owner or future owner!
Please RSVP to Cathy Eason or Heather Borton if you will be able to join us next Saturday. You can come help at our booth for a few hours and then feel free to walk around and check out the many activities and vendors that will be participating in RDO. This is always a super fun event and gives us an opportunity to teach interested people about our breed.
For more information, and a schedule of events, please see the Raleigh Flagship AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day.
