Synopsis: 
On 09-22-2019 at about 3:08 AM, Mendocino County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to a possible fight in the 1300 block of North State Street in Ukiah, California.

When Deputies arrived they contacted Skyler Gist who was having trouble maintaining his balance, had red blood shot eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and person.

Deputies also contacted a 34 year-old adult female and discovered there was a restraining order protecting her from Gist.

Deputies learned the adult female was walking when Gist confronted her and pinned her to a corner of the building, not allowing her to leave. She said two citizen's came to her aid and helped her get away from Gist, resulting in a 911 call to report the incident.

Deputies confirmed the protective order and that Gist was on formal probation.

Gist was arrested for 273.6 (violation of a Domestic Violence Order), 236 PC (false imprisonment), 1203.2 PC (violation of probation) and 647(F) PC (being intoxicated in public) with out incident.

Gist was booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held on a no-bail status.
