This reminder is short and sweet...
all the details are in Thursday's message here.
 Landscape Revitalization
Several months ago we set up a committee to evaluate several "revitalization" options for the Rio Crossing landscape areas.  We want your input!

There is an 8-minute introductory YouTube video providing some background and planning information, with links to "concept tour" videos of each theme with computer-generated simulations of each of three themes being considered.  View these videos and jump to our survey form to tell us which themes you'd prefer to see selected.

We'll also be available at the Annual Meeting this Wednesday to answer questions and get input in person.

 Road Preservation
 (aka "Crack Seal")

The City of Avondale will be doing "road preservation work" -- commonly referred to as "crack sealing" -- starting Monday September 23 and potentially going through Friday October 11... about 3 weeks.
 Winter Grass Prep
Irrigation for the turf areas has been scaled back, now that overnight temperatures have moderated quite a bit. This is in preparation for the winder rye over-seeding.

We'll see a couple of weeks of brown grass in the "green belts", then as water is applied to the rye, it'll bring the green back.
 Annual Member Meeting
Here's one more reminder about the Rio Crossing Homeowner Association's Annual Member Meeting to be held this week on Wednesday September 25, 2019 starting at 7pm at the Palm Valley Community Center, 14145 W Palm Valley Blvd in Goodyear.  Take Litchfield Park Blvd south from Indian School, and turn right/west on Palm Valley Blvd about half a mile from McDowell.  The Community Center is about a half mile on the left along Palm Valley Blvd.

The meeting will include the election for the next term of board members.  If you won't be attending and you have not yet mailed your ballot, please contact Wendi for alternate delivery methods, since mailing them by USPS now won't get them delivered in time.

We hope to see you at the meeting!
 Block Wall Painting
The crew from EmpireWorks has been out painting the common area block walls for about a week..  This work will continue this week at least, and maybe into next week, as needed.
