Hey it's already October! You can probably tell as the evenings are becoming a little cooler and the days are colored by leaves falling on the ground. We are happy to be concluding the Foundation Series as we explored the foundations of our faith, the things that we many times gloss over and don't pay much attention to and how important they are to our faith. As we approach the time of Fall, we as a church family want to be growing in our spiritual and emotional health so that the Harvest of our fruits and work can be a blessing this season in life. We are glad that you joined Bryte Church and are excited to share some great events and updates this Month.

LADIES LATTE
Starting Back Up at a New Time!
Ladies Latte is back! Starting this Saturday with the New Morning Time!
Join the Ladies every first Saturday of the month as they get come together for fellowship and hangout around refreshments and encourage women of all ages to pursue God with all their heart.

DAY OF FASTING AND PRAYER
Bryte Church - Saturday, Oct 5th
This Saturday we are inviting the entire church family to be fasting and praying for our families and children. Everyone is invited to come for Prayer at 8:00am or at 12:00pm in the Main Church Sanctuary. Prayer will be every hour on the hour until 8pm so please feel free to join us.
If you are not able to come out, we invite you to pray and fast with your family and draw to God and spend the day with Him

THE AVENUE
College and Young Adult - 2nd Tuesdays
The Avenue is back with a new date - but the same gospel centered fellowship for anyone college age, whether you actually go to college or not.
We are there when life gets a little too busy. A little too hectic. A little too much. The Avenue is the perfect environment for anyone stuck in a never-ending cycle of stress, loneliness, and/or anxiety. Our goal is to support all local college students with love and encouragement, fellowship with other peers, and events to refresh you in the middle of your busy week

FAMILY CONFERENCE
Saturday, October 12th - 8:30am - 4:30pm
Family Ministry is inviting everyone to a Family Conference happening October 12th!
Spend the day getting into God's word on what it means to be a Friend, a Spouse and follower of Christ. We will have guest speaker Viktor Levashov from Maysky, Russia sharing what God has been teaching him in his position as pastor. Family Ministry is dedicated to helping families grow and encourage each other in the body of Christ.
Lunch will be provided and Day Care is available.

DESTRUCTIVE EMOTIONS
New Series - Starting Sunday, October 13, 2019
What do your emotions tell you about your emotional and spiritual health? Before you think we are going off course into a modern psychology trail, did you know that the Bible speaks to our emotions and captures many times heavy emotional situations?
- I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged. (Ps 25:16–17)
- Every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. My
eye wastes away because of grief (Psalm 6:6–7)
- I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. (Romans 9:2)
God knew that as emotional beings, we would have negative and destructive emotions ready to attack at any point, this is why there is a call to Delight, Stand in Awe, Be Amazed in Him to overcome these destructive emotions. But make no mistake, this is a battle, and more spiritual than just emotional. A battle for Joy in God and our lives hang on it. The Bible and it's authors show us over and over, not how smooth our lives should be, but how they have battled in the waves of impossible obstacles.

PCSBA Conference
October 17 - 19, 2019
The 82nd Spiritual-Educational Congress of PCSBA will be held this October 17 to 19 at Second Slavic Baptist Church. The theme is “The Power of the Gospel and the Challenges of Our Time,” based on the Scripture - (Mar.16: 15): “And he said to them: Go around the world and preach the Gospel to all creatures.” This is a spiritual edifying congress, and everyone is invited.
The main speakers will be Valery Stepanovich Antonyuk, chairman of the All-Ukrainian Union of ECB. As always, many congress seminars will be held during the congress. Full program and other information can be found on the registration page.
Registration is required only for church delegates and for anyone who would like to attend afternoon seminars and eat during breakfast, lunch and dinner, otherwise the services are free to attend.
