East Portland neighbors and friends are invited to join the Office of Community & Civic Life to discuss the 2020 Census and Code Change work. Learn about the importance of the Census, how your community can participate in this civic engagement action, and what resources and guidance are available. The meeting will also include conversations about the recommended changes to City Code Chapter 3.96 and the positive impact it would have for all Portlanders.

Are you looking to increase capacity for public participation but need more resources? The purpose of the Community Capacity Grant is to create mutually beneficial partnerships that will support high quality, culturally relevant work with community partners in Oregon and SW Washington. The grant is available to members of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) and those partnering with IAP2 Cascade Chapter members.
Applications open: September 9 - November 15, 2019
Amount Available: $3,000 (up to $1,000 per project)
