The Mindful Couple 52 Weekly Strategies to Real Love and Connection

Debbie and I are excited about the release of our new book, The Mindful Couple: 52 Weekly Strategies to Real Love and Connection, which we wrote together. It features 52 tips, one for each week of the year – for a happier, healthier relationship. The Mindful Couple provides heartfelt advice for creating better dynamics and bringing more kindness, responsibility, and pleasure into your partnership.

After decades of experience working with hundreds of couples they have formulated these tips to help you feel more hopeful, inspired and connected in your relationship.

This is the first book that  Debbie and I have co-authored. The book will be available for purchase in February 2020.

Keep reading for more exciting updates! As always, we'd love to hear from you.

In-love,

Craig and Debbie

What does it mean to be present or mindful in your relationship?

The Mindful CoupleSimply put, mindfulness is seeing your partner as they actually are – not as we wish or imagine them to be.

It is analogous to being present, being in the here and now.

Said another way, mindfulness is the relaxed, non-clinging, non-grasping, non-aversive, and nonjudgmental awareness of present experience. By nonjudgmental we mean accepting things as they are without trying to change it.

Mindfulness is a skill that like any other skill requires developing. It’s composed of two aspects: Read more...

Skip the flowers and chocolates. Give your relationship the gift of a Couple’s Tune-Up

Couples Tune-UpGive the gift of strengthening your relationship. A Couples Tune-Up is an easy way to start.

Couple’s Tune-Up is a customized assessment that is a fun, easy way to take a closer look at your unique relationship, increase relationship strengths, and above all – spark meaningful conversation between you and your partner.

Relationships are like cars: they can experience wear and tear, and periodically need a tune-up. If we ignore the little things that go wrong, we may end up dealing with a major relationship breakdown. While a relationship tune-up is not therapy, per se, it is a session to evaluate your relationship – and the intent is preventive.

Many are familiar with pre-marital and couples counseling, which is usually assumed to be for troubled relationships. However, a relationship tune-up is really the in-between where most relationships lie.

During this special which lasts until October 3, you can take the Couple’s Tune-Up for $75! This is a $125 savings off the regular $200 price.

Contact Craig Lambert at 619-990-9032 or craig@craiglamberttherapy.com to give you and your partner this gift today!

The Power of a Tribe

Power of a TribeBy nature, entrepreneurial women spend most of their time alone. Wrapped up in the busy-ness of business and life, they often don’t have the time to make friends, much less bounce their business-related ideas, frustrations, and struggles off anyone. And when they do get a spare moment, they often realize they’re lonely and isolated.

If you feel this way, we’d like to invite you to The Power of the Tribe: How to Create Empowered Friendships for the Next Level of Life, starting October 1.

It’s a complimentary interview series hosted by our friend Maureen Ryan-Blake, and it brings together more than 15 experts (including us!) to share our expertise around the importance of assembling a tribe of friends as you also build your successful business. Reserve your spot at no cost here:
