European mailing list launched for housing reporters
Dataharvest - the European Investigative Journalism Conference - focused on the issue of housing this year, which has resulted in a pan-European mailing list where reporters from all parts of the continent share data, facts and inspiration. At the time of writing, the latest 3 posts were from Albania (on discrimination in the housing market), Finland (mapping and visualizing of rent prices) and Spain (on the connection between AirBnB and rising prices on housing). Do you want to join the Arena Housing Mailing List? - sign up here!

Fun days last May! Did you see the pictures from the 2019 conference? Did you recognize yourself in Pieter Fannes' drawings? Find them here - and send us your pictures, if you would like them added to the galleries!
You will also find handouts and presentations from speakers at the conference website.

We listen to your feedback!
Don't think that it is wasted time to fill out the feedback forms. We read them carefully, enjoy the praise and discuss how to act on your critical points. Can we improve the program, the networking or the lunch? Read more here and stay tuned!

Today, we need to reach out far beyond that. In recent years we have started to see the full power of cross-border journalism. Global tax avoidance and fraud, for example, have been brought to the global political agenda through cross-border journalism projects.
