A storage bench is a true problem solver. It can be used in the entryway, at the foot of the bed, as a side table or credenza, or as a catch-all for kids’ toys and gear. Here are our 10 favorites.
Above: Ikea’s Stocksund Bench, shown in Nolhaga Dark Green and Black Wood, is $249.
Above: The Christian Woo Offset Bench Series includes storage drawers on one side and comes in walnut, blackened walnut, washed ash, and charred oak; $3,760 at The Future Perfect.
Above: The Thompson Storage Chest comes in Maple, Cherry, Walnut, and Painted Eco MDF. It’s designed to be a chest but can be used as a wide bench just the same. It’s $419 from Urban Green Furniture.
Above: From We Do Wood, the Correlations Bench is designed to be used as a bench or as a side table. The removable top and the rest of the bench are made of bamboo; $562 at Connox.
Above: Designed by Nathan Young for Design Within Reach, the Line Storage Bench comes in black, oak, and walnut and in sizes small and large; $1,295 to $1,695.
Above: The Mimico Storage Ottomon from Gus in Toronto is designed to be used as an ottoman, coffee table, or bench; $1,045 at Lekker Home.
